This miniature punching cradle is useful for simple punching or piercing.  It is made from solid pine with a natural finish.  The stop at one end to holds loose pages so they can easily be lined up.

The paddle to line up the holes is made from anodized aluminum with holes drilled on 1/4″  centers, providing flexibility for the number of holes you want to pierce and the space between them.  This paddle, if used correctly, puts a hole directly in the apex of the fold.

The combination of cradle and needle creates very small holes in signatures–particularly needed for miniature books.
